Warranty.

My knives come with a limited lifetime warranty.  They are designed for the type of work they'll do. Not all knives are designed to do every type of work. Using a knife for purposes beyond its design intent may constitute abuse and void the warranty. My knives are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the tool. Scratches and surface patina are normal and to be expected during the life of the knife and are not covered under the warranty. If one of my knives is defective it will be repaired or replaced at the sole discretion of the maker. Carbon steel knives will rust if not cared for properly.  Kitchen knives, whether carbon or stainless, should NEVER be placed in the dishwasher. Always gently clean and thoroughly dry your knife after use and give the blade and other metal parts a light coat of quality rust preventing oil. Do not use WD40 or other general purpose oil on knives used to prepare food. Kitchen knives can be wiped down with a food grade mineral oil, canola or olive oil. Sporting knives should not be left in their sheaths for long term storage. With proper use and maintenance your knife will serve you well for many years.
